Thinking that may be this year and definitely next year. I do ask, who do you want to replace him? You? Me? Who?

I just talked to a friend on the fourth floor who was eating lunch with two people in Crew Resources and they said no way to an MD-90 base except for the one in MSP. Don't mean to upset anyone as i would love to see the DFW commuters not commuting anymore.

I wish the 90s will come down to ATL, just so I could go ATL-MSP-West Coast. Just for something fun.

Last year there was a resolution to poll the pilot group if they would like changes to the way we are all paid. I asked a MEM rep what happened to it . Was told that Moak did not like it so it was shot down. I thought it was a good idea to let the WHOLE pilot group be asked if they wanted the NWA STYLE of being paid (1/2 of your guarantee 34 hours on the 31st and on the 15 you would get the other 34 + hours flown above 68 and per diem).
I do not know when the old Delta pay chart was put into place, but if it was last done in 1986.... it should now be paid out at $5000 for inflation indexing. If the MEM rep said this, then it is a classic case of pass the buck leadership. Remember the MEC chairman works for him, not the other way around. So here is a boss passing off any failures to his subordinates. Profiles in courage. What is his leadership motto, "The buck stops with whomever I can blame it on."? Based on the other actions I have seen out of MEM it doesn't surprise me. |

Not sure when they'll be ready, but by law I think it has to be in your possession no later than Jan 30th. If you set it up correctly in ESS, it will notify you by whatever e-mail address you set up that it's ready. (I can't wait for the tax "refund" either!) |
Delta-Japan Air Alliance May Be Able to Gain Approval (Update1)
January 13, 2010, 12:47 AM EST MORE FROM BUSINESSWEEK Jan. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. may be able to win U.S. approval for a pricing alliance with Japan Airlines Corp., boosting its chances of wresting the Asian carrier from American Airlines’ Oneworld group, analysts said. Delta, the world’s largest carrier, would offer Japan Air access to a bigger route system than Oneworld’s, said Vaughn Cordle, chief executive officer of Airline Forecasts LLC. That would help travelers, the Transportation Department’s chief criterion for granting antitrust exemptions, he said. More at Bloomberg. |

Deltanet, employee connection, follow the prompts to the electronic W-2 (assuming you signed up for it in time). Alternately, just go straight to ESS.
