Pimpin ain't easy.... unless you're FTB.

The floofiness (?) brings all the girls to the yard!

Question, trying to figure out where MD-90s would go out of DFW?

I see AMR flies an MD-83 from DFW-SEA in the winter, so with that said, to me the 90 would have the range from DFW to reach all 9 of our existing hubs alone. If you had flights going multiple times a day to these hubs then could you not have a sustainable base of MD-90s in DFW feeding local DFW traffic to our hubs to our international network including accessing Skyteam.

I gotta say... I'm pretty skeptical over this whole DFW deal- especially a base. I think that's just reaching too far. Maybe increasing it to a focus type city like IND. I'll eat my words if otherwise.

Like MSP, the MD-90 wouldn't have any problems hitting anywhere in the country...

Forget DFW, let's put the base in San Antonio! Think of the ads we could run. "From the River Walk direct to Pikes Place" "Camino Real to Fifth Avenue" "The Alamo Bowl to the Rose Bowl"

Let AMA have DFW, let CAL have IAH. We can run the world and Texas from SAT!

Now. What was that about hiring a nice cushion beneath everybody ?

Continue.

I think Flightinfo.com might be more your style, that is if you can pull up your big girl panties and take the heat :D

Ugh.

Just when I start to relax and think the big "F" is drifting into highly unlikely territory, someone goes and types something like this.

Bummer. Still, one can't help but notice that the lines are extraordinarily lean (67 hours). Is the axe going to fall at summer's end when most of the crew shuffling and retraining is complete?

Time will tell, I suppose.
