The sad part about the management apologists is that they do so with a deep seated hope of someday being invited into "the room." Management knows this, and they also know that there is no way they'll ever really accept a union goon into "the room." It's kind of perverted, but I've seen this many times: management may outwardly hate those that confront them, but they do respect them. Management deeply disrespects those that blindly follow the talking points that they themselves don't even believe. Carl That's exactly why I stated that I can see the logic in working with mgmt, but it is a very fine line to be walked. TAANSTFL (something like that) that you quoted very smartly outlined my overall thought on the process. edit: It's also the reason I react so aggressively fighting with rhetoric for that position. |

I've got some news for you 80kts. I have no desire to gain your respect if you agree with the multiple pilots on here who think its OK for a commuter to call in sick just because he couldn't catch a flight to get to work.;)
I don't condone calling in sick for a missed commute. Your comments on commuters and most other subjects have been rediculous and have done nothing but turn people away from your point of view. |

TANSTAAFL= There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch I knew I was close! Was too dang lazy to go back and find it. Always wondered what that stood for. And Carl.... I'm dissapointed. :( |
Wha? No other movies?!? You're the groundskeeper but you also fly the whale to NRT, how can this not be appropriate? It works on so many levels:
