Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

On these two items;

Projected 350 million in profit for 2010. Loss for Q1 then in the black. Planning on 100 million in profit sharing.

They are going to do the sims, then the DC-9 and 330 for ship sets. If it works whole system by next year. (all books but that is a moving target)

so is this official we don't have to bring brain bag to training anymore??

another tidbit for you delta guys...

Compass training department is hiring instructors. For some reason they feel they have the need to be able to train 20 a month starting in fall.

Something like that. They have also recieved a mandate from delta to make the interview exactly the same as the delta interview. They are bringing in a consulting firm to make sure it conforms.
