Not sure what the gain would be there. SLC already has a good size 73N base which has as good/better performance than the 320.

Why are the 88-FO ALV's so high? Dec 82 Jan 82. Are they that short??

Yep, it is part of the LOA that expires in March.....

I wonder about MEM and DFW crews. I wonder if there are NWA guys that commute to MEM that would rather commute to ATL and DFW crews that would rather go to MEM than continue with that killer commute. Just curious.

Maybe SWA will buy us. I think that if DFW is your home you are destined to commute the rest of your life |
The 320 can't make it coast to coast reliably in the winter going westbound.
Airbus is working on a software fix* to improve MTOW to fix this but in the meantime the A320 in SLC makes more sense with the 73N on the coasts... I'd imagine all flavors of the maddog to be concentrated east. This is all pure speculation Cheers George It involves a load alleviation logic that reduces wing loads automatically by affecting the ailerons and spoilers similar to the -700. |

If I had to rank the locations best to worst, I would put them in this order.
CVG, MSP, NYC, ATL, ANC, MEM, DTW, SEA, SLC, LAX -Fatty |

If East includes MSP and DTW you are correct. |
