As long as I have been with Delta, the word has always been that it is cheaper to run the airline at a "certain" percentage of greenslips rather than hire more pilots. I don't know what that percentage is but this is what has been said in the past. Delta has always met the min staffing formula but that has always fewer pilots than are actually needed to run the airline. Denny What recourse do we have on being falsely accused of drinking and what is our union stance on this. I would personally want to fry the accuser if it were me. We need to get rid of going thru TSA anyway. Our ID is kind of like haveing a top secret clearence but we have to check you out before you can see a top secert peice of material each time we are going to show you one. In other words, it is useless. Again, a failure of ALPA. |

CAE has Crewpass, and it's a joke. weeks ago myself and the FO were "selected" to go through security like everyone else. Happens all the time at CAE. Now I just skip it and go through the regular security line. I also was "swabbed" at MGM a week ago. Nice.

Her and most of the IT people came over to big D with their notes from converting NWA to its system. What I am told is that DAL system is similiar to the old NWA system and it is just a matter of these guys going back to their notes to do the upgrades. I think we will see some big upgrades in the next few months. |
