For a reserve guy, suit up pay is toward guarantee....not in addition.

Yep. It is just the added four points that may save you an extra few gallons of gas coming back to the airport.

I do not believe this is correct. I am pretty sure you just got a wash. You get straight pay for the trip you dropped (20 hours) plus pay no credit for the trip you pick up (20 hours) so.... 40 hours. The difference is pay no credit.

Booooooooooooooooooooooo. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

The captains all played the game and put in nothing but GSWC, and there were some guys there that made huge coin. I was way down the list, and it eventually got to me, but usually not until later in the month, and I didn't get any of the prime trips... I got the pudknocker trips (Know the movie reference?) :) Anyway.. I think that what I said above is correct, but I am sure a guru can correct me if wrong.

I had to look it up, but as soon as I saw it I remembered it. Who can forget Pancho Barnes?!? That movie and Airplane were the two I grew up on and probably the only ones I saw more than 10 times each. The later, fwiw, was very confusing 8 years old. But the word pudknocker can now enter my 100-200 word vocabulary.

But anyways, a picture from your awesome movie reference:

Something about walking away from a burning wreck with your helmet smashed that is so awesome it makes
me miss my EMB-120 days.

They shelled out 40 trips today on ATL M88 B, 13 were green slips.

Also saw a 4-leg day trip/"rotation" with 8.50 total, 5.45 bl, 3.05 dh. Ouch. There was also a greenslip I saw from back in February that was 2 legs, deadhead ATL-MCO, deadhead back. Sweet. Back breaker.

I am sure the trip did not start out that way....... :D

You are correct. GSWC pays single pay and credit for the removed rotation and single pay no credit for the GSWC rotation flown.

acl65pilot 03-14-2010 07:09 PM

You will be docked the credit for the single day of reserve. 70/18 or 3.88 hrs. per day
