Terminal A in CVG has only regionals, right?

Delta jobs will not be in jeopardy, right? Please correct me if I am wrong. Just looking for positives.. Hope one day they'll cut all the contractors. |

Now that Delta has opened up new space in CVG, the airport board will lure low cost competition to the airport. This will be a win for CVG passengers, but it's going to kill CVG as a Delta hub. This way, Delta can blaim the pursuance of low cost competition as the reason why CVG has to cease being a hub.

That is part of DHS's imperfection. Each regional TSA office has their own procedures, and then the local TSA bosses can modify those rules as well. What you end up with is a policy that is not uniform..

I'm definitely not an expert, but having flown through CVG, that place looks like a ghost town even with Delta operating at current capacity. If anyone wants to compete up there, the space has been available for years. Isn't CVG one of the most expensive airports in the country anyway? It's an underutilized airport for a reason. |

Isn't CVG one of the most expensive airports in the country anyway? It's an underutilized airport for a reason. Most expensive for the passengers for sure. Most expensive for the airlines, that I do not know. |
