I will now have worked 12 of 12 reserve days. All with trips (3 day trip for 3 days reserve, 5 day trip for 5 days reserve, etc.). I'm going to credit 76 hours this month. Finally broke guarantee. I used my crashpad 4 nights this month all at the beginning. Not complaining. I'm just pointing out that my fleet DTW320B might be a little under-staffed right now. Bring some extremely JUNIOR pilots in please. By junior I mean new hires as that's about the only pilots junior to me.

While I have YS in and still can't sniff a trip. NYC ER B reserve is cake. Wish I lived here. Next month I have jury duty.

Me in a month...

Let me get this straight. Trees get big, trees get little?

Sorry to hear your working too much. 20 days off so far this month. I need to get back to work so I stop spending money on craigs list. Bought a hot tub, finishing up the wiring tomorrow. ACL, bring your munchkin's over to play with mine. Wife wants the non-coweta county folks to bring the booze since we can't buy it here!!! This reserve thingy is great. Caught a big-azzz bass yesterday. Got a big-azzz buzz right now. Credited over 100 hours last month so I bid reserve to chill out.....I've been chillin' out. OK, work stuff now. If I met someone who is a professional negotiator for airline management who is now freelancing, would our union folks be interested in his services?? He is a relative of my neighbor....met him at a Thrashers game last week and gave me lots of insight into how management kicks our tush. We need this guy on our side!!!

I'm strongly considering bidding the mad dog in ATL next bid, then moving there. As of right now, all of my trips have been commutable at both ends so I don't mind it. Whether I'm sitting in my crashpad or working, I'm still away from home. Since I'm going to break guarantee for the first time, life is good. At least I don't feel like I'm working for nothing. I'm getting somewhere. I like your idea of a professional negotiator, but I doubt ALPA will hire any outside help. They actually think they are doing a good job. I guess I would too if I was getting paid like they are.

Hey Keenster,

Perhaps a crash course in grammar and spelling would give you more credibility. Just a thought.

Sorry my spell check grammer button is broken on my laptop:D

Isn't it ironic how the union and our government have a lot in common???

Just saying.

Please refrain from POLITICAL posts. It's a violation of TOS, plus we have enough to discuss & debate on this thread. ;)

Lets see, today is the 25th, so I've had 25 days off so far this month. Reserve on the MSP 88B isn't so bad after all

For this month, there are two of us FO's in the category - total. And, of course, no MSP 88 rotations built. Next month there's 10 FO's and still no native flying. I have a feeling that things will change by summer  But in the mean time (insert smiley faces clinking beers).

Even the traditionally fat ATL 767 category has been handing out greenslips for a good week now. I even got an automated IA call last saturday!

Still havent broken guarantee this year on normal credit, but last December I flew so many days that I ended up with 5+15 rig pay instead of guarantee.
