FTB needs to go put his uniform on since he's on SC today and tomorrow... :D Of course if I do that I won't work. But I would like to work since I haven't landed a maddog in a month...

That thunderstorm to the north of the ATL airport is absolutely rocking my house. Its been like this for almost 45-60 minutes. Rarely do you see one just keep going and going like this. I'm surprised I still have power.

Yall be good.

They take breaks every 15 seconds. Soccer players run 8 miles a game.....
Like I said, keep enjoying your NASCAR, Football, and ever so exciting golf.

I will, better than watching some guy get touched and act like he got shot with a 12 gauge.

Just because you can run 8 miles (for the record, I can) sure as hell deosn't make you a great athlete (I'm not). They aren't running continuously either.

And I like soccer, just hate it when people hold it up to be something more than it is....just a sport

While I'm not a fan of soccer, I agree it requires serious athleticism. I think hockey is another under appreciated sport. It requires incredible endurance, just like soccer.

So as a Non Rev, I can go out and buy all the seats on a flight I need, then 24 hrs prior cancel, and presto chango the plane will be emtpy and I'll get my non rev seat. Perfect.

That's funny. I'm telling you, the Government is hellbent on regulating us all back into bankruptcy.

That my friend, is freaking brilliant. Or briliant. Two Ls or one? Ironic.

Anyways, it'd work but the problem is we won't have jobs to commute to. I sure hope I'm reading this wrong.

Or the government version of Pilotfrog has developed a get rich scheme here. We make absurd rule proposals, airlines lobby, we get rich, repeat. Unfortunately, I don't think LaHood is that smart.

This may up with unintended consequences. Like the new 3 hour rule has led to mass preemptive cancellations, we will now no longer oversell a flight and therefore your odds of getting the "walkup" full fare rate just went up.

On the other hand, if we don't oversell so we don't pay some schmuck $1300 for his $200 ticket, we might be able to non-rev all that much easier hmmmm. Maybe this might be a win for us after all.

KC10 FATboy 06-02-2010 12:18 PM

These new rules, although intended to make things good, will result in even higher ticket prices, not lower.

I dont really care about Up 2, but I didn't want to leave you out.

So Ferd back to NRT are you seeing a difference in the NRT op beside the loss of deadheading priviledges? More crews in planning or at the hotel? Has it ramped up in the last couple months?

Liked IRON MAN - Hated IRON MAN 2. Just my .02.
