Or getting shot in a drive-by in front of the terminal. Guess we can always find something that $ucks worse than a bad policy.:(

Those girls had a much better handle of the comings and goings of C-141 and C-5 crews than AMC or TACC could have ever hoped to.

One of my best friends at Sheppard AFB, back in the day was an F-5 guy at Clark between Eagle tours. He picked up the nickname "Noforn"........for no foreign insemination:D. Made it all three years without doing the cherry boy tour downtown. He was on that fast track to general, great guy but I guess he was worried about the baggage.......yeah yeah that's the reason;)

PS He was even single at the time......we all just laughed

Ferd, this essentially does require two backups. Technically, you would need to try both flights first, after a streak of bad luck you would Call in Honest and then scheduling would decide. I've been hearing about lots of guys just being removed, better than fired.

Woah. Talk about low expectations......

Three years? Hell, I had loadmasters who couldn't make past three minutes. Several of them were married to girls in the PI and girls back in the US. Good times....

I just want to stop and say that after looking at what's going on over at the US Airways Appeal thread, THANK YOU TO ALL THE PILOTS of Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines for coming together and working for the same goal.

Things aren't prefect here, but there's no place I'd rather be.

Come on NewK, I am one of the more militant folks on this forum. Had a guy on the jumpseat this last rotation and know (none of them new) of a few guys that commute in from long call. All of them, were unfamiliar with the policy. Just trying to create awareness. Not so sure how well this MEC will go to bat for a pilot.

Well boys........off to make coin for momma D. DV8 DH(honest, that's what it says on my line, gotta love the new written english) to SEA then fly to KIX, bounce around Asia for a few days then fly NRT to SFO.

The days of dinner and movies in biz class are over I guess:(

Don't ya feel sorry for me........guess I'm just like all the other poor working 7ER slobs all over the company flying over that cold dark ocean:D

Later my homies
