and ATL 73N B!
The adults can stay there until they can learn to draw and post pictures of boobies like us children. I'm not sure how many times it's necessary to rehash the same mindnumbing arguments over and over again. Oh... that's why they are posting in the usair thread! BRILLIANT! Out of the mouths of babes.... :D |

Thanks! Im a MEM guy as well. FNWA. I have just always bid reserve since I live in base and haven't ever dealt with it. Last month was my 1st as a line holder in years since I was in ANC on the Whale. Good tip on the payrate. I have an increase coming in a few weeks, i'll wait for that.
One more question and I'll go back to just reading the posts: Since they have already deducted my 5 hrs for July on my July Time Card, if I were to pick up a 3 day worth 16 hrs, will that go into the bank as well or is the deduction capped at 5 per month? Thanks, the contract just says the 5 hrs comes out automatically above 80, but i dont know where it stopps. After the July deduction my Bank will be at -9 hours. Last month I White Slipped a 5 day but they bought it from me for some reason so maybe thats why i didn't see the deduction. Thanks again for yall's help. Denny |

So future AE question here / pay protection....
A) If you were awarded M88 B ATL on the current AE ( I was) and training is not gonna happen till December, can I bid up to something else in the meantime if the next AE comes out before then (like ATL 73N?? or higher) would they let me? B) If a new hire gets trained before do I get pay protected to their higher position pay?? Thanks in advance to whoever knows:) The following is the definition of "category freeze" from Section 2 of the contract: 35. “Category freeze” means a period of time a. that is determined under Section 22 G., b. that commences on the date of a pilot’s award of an AE or VD for which qualification training is required, and c. during which the pilot will (unless declared eligible by the Company) be ineligible to be awarded another AE with an earliest conversion date falling within the freeze period (other than to a new or reestablished category) for which qualification training is required. To me, it looks like you are not eligible to bid an AE or VD to a new position if your last AE requires qualification training and the earliest conversion date of any subsequent AE's falls within your freeze period. There is no mention of whether you have started qualification training or not, just if it is required. It looks like the only out is to get the company to let you be eligible. I have no idea how to do that. I don't know the answer to the second question but I would hazzard a guess you do not. Denny |
Did someone say boobies?

T's disposition may be a bit .... well , harsh,...but, I take exception to the above.
Our meals are a contractually negotiated item. Not up for discussion whether we get fed or not. $$ were given up somewhere to get them. It's absolutely NOT up to the F/A's whether they are going to feed us or not. It happens to be their job if the flight meets the criteria. Secondly, a "P** break" is a safety of flight issue. If I need to come out, I'm comin' out. End of story. Of course I don't abuse it and 99% of the time, do it on the normal break-swap-out. But domestic or international, it is absolutely NOT up to the cabin crew when I'm goin' to the head. |
