Keenster's reference to the "issue" is exactly right. All LCA's on the -400 wrote a letter with supporting data. Their Delta supervisor responded to their letter by notifying them that he would be seeking their termination from the training command. JG denied the request for termination and all LCA's are still in the training command. Good on JG for doing that.

You asked for examples, and this is just one. Since you guys are fDAL, you're not seeing this stuff and we know that. It's just no way to treat fellow professionals. JG has better things to do than deal with that sort of stuff.

No Carl. I'm not in the loop of information that you are. I honest to God don't know what you're talking about. I need names, something of fact. That way, when I ask the question, I don't say, "Yes sir, I know this disgruntled 744 Captain who says a buddy of his was force into termination and/or quit their jobs because of nobody wanted to hear their opinion. Can you please speak to that???"

And Carl, you of all people. Why haven't YOU gone to these meetings and stirred the pot? Why are you on here ranting and raving when you could turn your concerns and emotions into action?

Well?

What a great example of the new life at Delta. I lay it out for you and that's not enough. Worst of all, you refer to my post as "raving".

I'm obviously not going to go into any more detail publicly, not even privately because I don't know who you are. If you were really interested and you're really an employee, you could find the people I'm referring to because I gave you titles.

So don't bother bringing any of this up at some base meeting. Because even if you went to these folks and asked them, you'd probably start your question at the meeting by saying: "Hey, I talked to some whiney fNWA guys the other day and they're saying..."

Carl, I'm just a pee-on here at DAL, hired in the last round of hiring.

You've done nothing but whine/complain pre and post-merger. I haven't seen you do anything but.

So stop with the rhetoric and send me an email with some details. I'm not going to search through your rants and piece together information.

I've got a life too ... Season 4 of Ice Road Truckers is on. Lisa has a speedometer problem and Jack solders an alternator in sub-zero temperatures for a stranded driver. Good times.

So please, man up or shut up. Grow a pair and ask the management themselves, face to face. Ask them the hard questions. A relatively new FO is the last person they'll listen to. But an old crusty 744 CA ... that's a different story.

Otherwise, shutup and stop bringing the hate to this forum. We didn't do anything to you so stop accusing us with this "great example of lift at the new Delta" crap.

I do know that they didn't like the Delta way of doing crew rest... The legs they do are typically 4 man, but not really long enough to do the ULR 2 breaks thing.

Just wondering since you fly the 88, how could the airplane be load limited on a 40 minute flight.

Pensacola? Might be oil on the runway. Thank You BP! .....TIC.

Keenster:

Did you by chance get the gate agent's name? Gate and time? Good ammo to have for later, IMMHO.

Sorry for your travail.

Actually Slick, KC10 accused you of "ranting and raving" not just raving. I think he nailed it.
