I know there are some 50+ hr layo's in his fav place next month. I know he will be bidding em :D
----------------------------------------------------------------- Deleted actual pattern. Probably not the smartest thing to post on an open forum. ------------------------------------------------------------- But, you'll notice a couple of things. We no longer DH each way so now the hard fly vs credit is A LOT higher. Also, notice the last day. It looks nasty depending on the level of jetlag (I assume the reason for the 42:55 layover). If I get it, I'll let ya know how it worked out......the last day I mean:D I always knew the gravy train would end. There are still some DHs going over or back but very few and I don't recall any that DHed both ways. If we start doing more Asia rim flying I still think we'll see the return of the DHs because I don't think they will have enough guys over there with just the ER going back and forth. Ferd |

Trust me there are a bunch of treats on all fleets. I have looked though all of the bid packages for Aug and no one has less pain than the other. These domestic and international combined trips take the cake.
I do like the DH to NRT than some intraport flying that the ER has, but I am sure that those will go to the top 20. LAX 73N Bid package - affectionately called the "House of Pain" by LAX pilots. But hey, we do have some choices - we have red eyes and those that finish at 2300+. Only kidding there is plenty good flying out of LAX - Oh wait I was confusing Delta Air Lines with Alaskan for a minute. I guess someone has to bite the bullet and fly to all those Mexican resorts. :) Scoop |
I know those were the good ole days to you Ferd, but it really doesn't make a lot of sense to dh folks over to fly the inter Asia stuff. I cut my flying teeth doing that stuff back in the C-141 days. Two week 80 hr double diegos were highly sought after. The FEIT mission as another great one. The Super Kimche 5 leg 16 hr day was fun, especially when you got an hour in Osan to buy purses and shoes.

Oh I know........why I called it a gravy train:D They may actually have too many guys over there now, don't know how else to explain the 60 hour Saipan layover. I'm sure not complaining:cool:

Sounds like a long recovery from a work related injury.... ;) Seriously, that sounds painful and hope all is well. |

I'm not going to condone what the sun visor did, I'm just thinking, who started it? |
