What I heard was, the 747 guys were willing to give up on the fight for "modern IT". :D

These rumor's are fun, aren't they?

Make no mistake. The company will pull this crap if we show the slightest inclination in taking the bait. Hell, RAH already has them on the way. In their eyes it's almost a foregone conclusion that they'll be able to operate them in delta colors.

I'm sick of seeing 175's and -900's everywhere we go, and being the ONLY mainline airplane on the ground. Think of career progression/stagnation/backslide if you are even CONSIDERING this to be a good deal.

LM, I know you're gunning for ALPA president this fall, but do not pull this crap on your OWN pilots!

Btw, I'm against any scope sales if anyone was wondering

Yes, there are recalls in the 16th. MSP320 for me.

Welcome back! It's nice to see guys from NH class trickle in. I think there's only a few still out.

Does RAW value have anything to do with assigning green slips, i.e., if I want a green slip does it help to lower my RAW? I'm thinking the answer is no, and I don't want to inadvertently end up with a yellow slip, so I'm not lowering my RAW. Am I on the right track?

I have recieved my packet for the sept 6th class and filled out all the pria stuff and the air apps but am dragging my feet on the yellow fever thing cause i hate shots :)

Actually after reading that I think you meant the recalls to DAL oops. I'll try and read better next time.

You are on the right track. Lowering your RAW score by 15 is submitting a yellow slip and you'll get that before you get a GS, it has nothing to do with you getting a GS. Also the only time you will get a GS on days you are on reserve is if you submit one when you are on long call and they run out of short call guys and need someone inside 12 hours. Never had it happen, but you can get a GS when on long call reserve. If you put in a YS instead, you will get the trip even if it is within 12 hours and get paid nothing extra.

You will have no idea when your in the running for a GS since we cannot see who has submitted requests. Sometimes you can figure it out when they are handing out alot of them by who is getting them and where they are at on the category list, but then it's still a guess. I think we need a green slip availability list that shows us who has in a request and the order that they will go out so we have a clue when we may be getting close to getting one. It could work just like the reserve availability list and would be very nice to have.

Rocky,

If you put a yellow slip in for a trip that doesn't match up with your days available, will they give it to you?

Ie. I have 5 days of availability and I put a yellow in for a 3 day trip....

You can put it in and try but they will go for the guy who only has 3 days of availability first (whether or not he has lowered his raw).

Question, coming from someone from way on high bidding down to reserve.

If on the mighty 88 if the min (consecutive) reserve days on is 3, does that apply to the beginning of the month? Can someone have reserve on the 1st and 2nd, and then have the 3rd off? Or does that reserve days on group have to be 3 and be on reserve for the 1st through 3rd?

Thanks
FTB
