Interesting about printing plates. The FAA approved the charter operator I flew for to print the plates as we needed them. There was a printer in the back, way, way, back. Big plane. Anyways, if we needed to divert we would just go get a computer, walk to the back and pull the printer out, put it down on the credenza, hook up the computer and power it up, print off the plates, put everything back, and then go back to the cockpit. When we asked about just using a computer we were laughed at, of course not, thats not approved or safe. We bought NOS charts and used them for domestic flying.

TSQUARE, TSQUARE, TSQUARE...

Tebow is playing on NFL Network. Just got in the game after Quinn floundered. Anyways, he dropped back and hit a long bomb onto the shoulder pads of an open reciever in stride... dude dropped it. But he can throw man, he can throw. For a QB, he's also huge. My bet is he's #2 on the roster by seasons start and we'll see if Orton can keep his head screwed on right. Not likely.

Thinking about posting a picture. There is no shortage. And evidently, girls like taking their pictures with him. If I posted those you'd like them, but not posting until Nu comes through on his promise. Nu = Promise Breaker.

WOOHOO!! Yes, as of Sep. 1. It looks like the company took all the guys that were already current and qualified and converted them Sep. 1.

Dear Clamp,
We miss the late night Clamp Show. What does NewK look like? I'm thinking,

a Russell Crowe type? What do you say? Am I close? Do you have a better picture of him?

Maybe we should have a Picture That Newk contest?

Thanks,
Sleepless north of Atlanta knowing that if I own it, and it uses a/c, its broke, if not broke, it will re-broke soon "

Not trying to gripe, but what's going on with MSPM88?? SLCM88 is officially over, and MSP M88 is still running close to 40% on reserve. Is it ever gonna end?

End gripe mode.

SEA is out, but missing the link. If you select SEA 330 and change 330 to 7ER in the address bar, it will show the SEA 7ER results. At least for B, I haven't tried A.

I agree. I've been wondering the same thing.

I'm 180 out on my experiences. In ATL when it's not busy I get right into a spot and get connected ASAP. In DTW, for example, the place isn't any where near as busy, but we wait each and every single time...I mean 8-10 mins on average just sitting there outside the gate. I've called them well in advance; follow up with a call when we get there and nothing appears to be taking place, and then the wait. Typically there's a baggage cart that has to be moved, and eventually they get around to that, and then a couple of mins later everyone is ready to marshal the plane in. Wish I had your experience there. MSP, on the other hand, is much better. For me, they mirror ATL fairly well--both are usually right there, ready for you, and both sometimes find the jetway at times needing a gate agent to bring it up to the aircraft.

I just finished a 4 day and got the CA to SE taxi almost every leg. An exception was a 5 min taxi in JFK(of all places) off Gate 1 to 31L @ KK. We needed 5 minutes since it was first flight of the day and we actually had to wait 2:30 before we started to taxi. Guys are getting better.

One thing that needs to be changed is our Vol 1 prohibits X-Bleed starts with the parking brake OFF. It must be set in order to do a X-Bleed start, so if we want to SE Taxi we have to keep the APU running. That needs to be changed.

Hey, I've been trying to SE taxi on the DC9,...but on a -50 series above 110000 # I feel like I am blowing stuff over as I push 'em up over 80% to get the ship moving ! That doesn't include asphalt nervana's like EWR! That's about 90% ! Ahhhhh!

Soooooo........SE taxing on a -9 sometimes can blow stuff over......
