Back to the discussion of satelite bases. I'm for anything that gets people moving up. If it does that, great, if not, not great. Also, sad to report, I'm learning the PF2, PF3, PF4 keys on icrew now. Sad.
First part of the quote: You funny man Ftb... Thanks for the good news.

Second part: Ain't gonna happen. For those of you holding out any hope of any base in Florida... ain't gonna happen. There are lots of guys with "I was based in.." shirts here at DAL.. and lots of 'em are in Florida. Huge leisure market.. not much money made here. I'd love to drive to work again.. but it just ain't in the cards...

I totally used ain't 3.. 4 times in this post. OK.. off to the astronomical clock here in PRG. Ya'll have a great day.

Why not? They worked fine in the military.. I still have a few old souvenirs lying around.. and I think I could find concrete with 'em. Jepps aren't all that... just what we are used to.

Edit: After reading a few other posts.. I might reconsider my position.. but I sure as hell wouldn't tell Boeing.. Jeppesen.. it's called negotiation... look it up

When we asked about just using a computer we were laughed at, of course not, thats not approved or safe. We bought NOS charts and used them for domestic flying.

TSQUARE, TSQUARE, TSQUARE...

Tebow is playing on NFL Network. Just got in the game after Quinn floundered. Anyways, he dropped back and hit a long bomb onto the shoulder pads of an open reciever in stride... dude dropped it. But he can throw man, he can throw. For a QB, he's also huge. My bet is he's #2 on the roster by seasons start and we'll see if Orton can keep his head screwed on right. Not likely.

Thinking about posting a picture. There is no shortage. And evidently, girls like taking their pictures with him. If I posted those you'd like them, but not posting until Nu comes through on his promise. Nu = Promise Breaker.

I USED to be a pony fan... a long time ago..... It will be hard to pull for even a FORMER GAYtor. bwaaaa haaaaa haaaaaaa Seriously.. it will be interesting to see him try one up the middle against Palamalu... That would be a collision that might make the Eric Berry hit look like a love tap. (And Eric WON that one too...)

We all want to make money. A lot more money. Watching money be pi$$ed away due to intentional non-contractual inefficiency is frustrating.

Just a tidbit for the tinfoil hat wearers. IMO, it all happens before the January 1, 2011 tax increases.

In typical professional journalist style, the writer is a little softer in his handling or description of several of the topics.

Take your potshots.

Since no one has posted it - WELCOME NEW HIRES.

I figure right now there are some Blue suits and red ties sitting on the third floor in ATL getting the pep talk from BB!

It'd be neat to see, its great news to hear new hires are walking around. So let me guess, they're a an hour or so from their class drop and walking over to the DC3 and 767 to get their pictures taken, and then making their choices. Go BB!

Scambo;
Interesting article. In the most basic of terms, companies will "try" to keep employees and see how they are doing in the higher tax environment. If they can succeed they will keep em, if not unemployment will spike.

In regard to families and individuals, more taxes means less money to spend elsewhere.

Soooooo........SE taxing on a -9 sometimes can blow stuff over......
I just SE taxied the other day at almost 120K in a -50. Finally had a cool enough day where we could afford to do it and keep the cabin comfortable. We weren't on asphalt. (And I wouldn't have done it on asphalt.) But it worked out fine. Kept it under 1.2 EPR (which is low enough to keep from tripping the packs and doesn't blow stuff over) and she rolled just fine. You have to be patient... it takes about 5 seconds or so to start rolling.
