Sometimes I think about throwing my name in the hat to be an instructor for precisely that reason.

I agree on that one.
It is a good gig. Most if not all like the job. |

The manning docs may say we have an overage but this place can't run without one. The requirements have never been a realistic guage of how many are really required.

I agree with that. I am not sure how the 767B is going to run this summer in ATL.

Dude, 2055 posts? C'mon. I've been religious about these boards for the past year and a half and I'm not even at 900. How about I send you my password and you can post for me for awhile so I can catch up?
I think the post counter is wrong. There is no way I have posted that much ;) |
Which seat do we flow back to at compass?

Correct. You flow back to the top of the CPZ list and the current CPZ guys flow down and are excreted out the bottom the list, for lack of a more tasteful description. You'd be a Captain until a more senior furlough pushes you down and possibly out the bottom of the list. That's why a furlough will be tricky. They would not want it to turn into this continuous bump and flush of the CPZ list as guys flow back and get a type rating on their way out the door. The top three guys at CPZ are actually considered flow downs, so I guess you'd go under them. |
Where do the flow downs fit on the pay scale? Do they go to the top of the pay charts too?
