Thanks for that opinion man. I was hoping that the Southies wouldn't appreciate similar treatment.

Going across the Pacific isn't rocket surgery. It's on airways Class II navigation... no plotting chart required. (I found it interesting when they insisted on doing one anyway.. but to each his own) The main reason that -ER guys were going along (I being one of them) is that the fNWA guys had little if any experience flying over water.. and NONE in the -ER. A whale or -330 guy would have been a total waste of time and money.

It happened a lot more than just a few times. Thank you as well for your opinion that this is not cool.

What would the hypothetical topic of the hypothetical report be? Something relating to mixed crew operations?
The hypothetical reason is that some have the view that a certain hypothetical group of recently merged flight crews lack professionalism. They were trying to collect data to prove that hypothesis.

Regardless of where or how long it was discussed, that doesn't answer Nosmo's question.

Same thing happened in Shanghai

I am not the one to answer that, as I do not know. I would say ask your reps. The answer I got made it sound like there was some sort of mis-communication. If that is in fact false, make it known.

Trust me Carl, when I heard about it, I communicated with my reps.

Flt Ops was trying to collect data to prove NWA crews "lack professionalism" ??
That's the reason for the ride alongs on the new 767 categories?

Geez Carl. That's a bit "out there" even for you.

Sorry. I gotta raise the flag.

Yeah that's just retarded. What I heard it was an audit to see how they were taking to and complying with the new procedures.

Still ridiculous to be doing it under cover.

Read the EFOB on the subject of recent incidents. You'll find terms used that are exactly what I stated ... hypothetically. When you get back from reading the EFOB, you can decide what to do with your flag.
