My understanding is that it is standard lineholder rig/min day.

Thanks 80.

That would be much better for some of these trips.

NewK,

If you are on reserve, even if it is a GS, I believe you get what the trip is worth as a reserve. It is a reserve GS. If you look at the bottom of the rotation/pairing it lists what a trip is worth for both regular and reserve lineholders. I would either ask scheduling when they call what the trip is worth for a reserve vs a regular guy or I would let the answering machine get the message and then check it out online. You should have at least 10 minutes to call in and accept the trip if you want it (depending on how much time til the trip departs). As a reserve any time is straight pay above your reserve guarantee. As a regular it is straight pay until you get to the GS trigger then double above that. I know with that steel trap mind of yours, you already know all this but I thought you just might want clarification!

FtB,

Breathe in..............Breathe out.............and repeat after me, "I get paid by the minute," "I get paid by the minute."

All kidding aside, I feel your pain so to speak. Was it the Peter Principle that says something about people get promoted to their highest level of incompetence......... I know it's true, look at me!!! (Well, not quite, I've just survived long enough due to fairly good genes!) Fortunately for me, on APC, not to many people know my real name..........unfortunately too many already do!!

No steel trap mind here. I just found out about the reserve pay for greenslips today.

I that makes some of the trips very crappy, even for a greenslip. Ie. A two day trip worth 4.24 hours. (Yuck)

Yeah, to put it in terms I can use on here, it's "hogwash!" This difference between regular and reserve pay for the same trip has needed to be fixed as far back as I can remember.

Yeah. Unbelievable. I'm gonna have to get my act together and do some serious planning. There are a lot of places in this contract that can jump up and bite you.

Truer words were never spoken! I will probably be sitting a lot more reserve now and I have GOT to re-familiarize (is that a word?) myself with all the reserve rules again. I'm sure I'll get bitten a time or two but hopefully not for the same thing twice!!

Hey, what are you doing up so late!?! That is, if you are on the east coast........

Leon, I have a question:
35. (Refer to appendix 2, figures 63, 63A, 63B, 64, 64C, 65, 69 and 72B.) What is the turbulent air penetration N1 power setting for Operating Conditions Q-1?
A. 84.0 percent.
B. 82.4 percent.
C. 84.8 percent.
D. So... you... don't want a fish sandwich?
