ATTN MOD.

LIke the no politics rule please do not let this thread become a John Deere vs Kubota thread.

A lot more further off topic debates have gone on on "the NEVER ENDING SUPER PREMIUM THREAD"!

Quick travelnet question.... Does your buddy pass allowance go toward when you issue the pass or when they actually travel? I'm looking at booking a pass (I have 4 left for this year) but the travel dates are after my hire date.

When you book them. They are good for one year after that.

I hope to be totally debt free within 18 months. It is a goal.
We paid off everything a few years back. But we are about to FINALLY build the house that we bought this piece of property for in the first place. So I think we will be back in debt.. just a little.. and hopefully not for very long. Brace yourself for tax day when you do that though. Without a mortgage, you cannot deduct ANYTHING... and your tax bill is large. You have to keep in mind that your disposeable income is much larger too though. When you get there.. call Dave Ramsay and scream "I'm debt FREE!"

It's kind of sick how you're penalized in taxes for being debt free.

I just got a house last year and a new car... with the interest on the mortgage/ point buy down as well as sales tax on the new car (plus other items), my tax refund was HUGE.

They like you to be in debt and paying interest...

If you want to quote dave, go a step further. Yes, you will pay more in tax per year, but it will less than you are paying in interest for that house. I prefer to spend an extra 3000 a year in taxes than 15000 in interest. That is 12,000 dollars more a year I can put towards retirement.

Stated that GUM is on ice for at least 12 months. I see that timeline as telling, but I will not go there.

I know they have looked at another base, or two, but all of the stuff I am hearing is movement of jets. MSP 88 is to grow, CVG ER half to full pulldown which will coincide with a SEA ER base. Marking needs to commit to the 330 time in ATL. If they do then we will see a 330 base ere. I assume the pulldown will be from DTW, but that is just a guess. Overall they are stating it will be a positive AE. Less than 100 reinstatement is the figure they have been quoting publicly.
I would bet the AE will be here the first week of May, but to be safe say the first two week for some last minute tweaking. Next AE after that is an AUG AE for winter training.
