A gay bar on one side, a strip joint on the other side, and pulled pork sandwiches sold in front. That should do the trick.:D

Where do I find a list of our layover hotels? I am going to see my son in LAS and wanted to see what kind of rate I could get.
Thanks

If you go to the DALPA site, and then the hotel committee page, they have a list they update frequently. It does not have contract numbers on it, but it gives you the name.

Interestingly, the way the flows are structured, putting those 22 in class during a month in which no others were hired will trigger an *additional* 29 newhires - 20 from CP and 9 from XJ. In reality I think we are talking *much* larger numbers in 2011 (barring the economy going off a cliff) and this is the first hint of things to come.

At least two of those 22 additionals (including one former WSO) are folks to whom they offered jobs, but are tied up w/mil commitments till 2011.

I wont post the name of the hotel for security reasons but they give next to no discount and there are much better deals in Vegas if you are looking for a cheap hotel. The Delta hotel is very very nice but I would never pay their asking price since there are much cheaper options.

Yes, I believe we will be hiring again next year. We just need the finalized 2011 block hours, & then I think think the announcement will come. :)

I paid $50 ($75ish w taxes/ fees) to stay at our LAS layover hotel on Priceline. I didn't mean to stay at our layover hotel but it just worked out that way.

This is pretty much standard for all our contract hotels. Every time I've called our contract hotels to see if they offer us discounts, they usually don't give anything better than an internet rate. You could probably do better with Priceline.
