Eventually all 25 717's were to be flying with Click. At shut down there were 20 operating and 2 in the pipeline coming out of VCV. The other 3 are still stored there.

Boeing Capital owns all 25 717's and the prospects for leasing are dim. AirTran is already taking 2 717's next year on lease but those aircraft are already designated from another carrier, not Click or YX craft.

Not exactly. We were flying the gray and white paint job in the early to mid 1980s. Looks like the Bright Star air drops we used to do in Egypt.

I think you're right, most know to look for that first if the plane fails to pressurize. I wouldn't think they'd swap planes in FLL if it had been that simple. Although I wasn't there and the sucky thing about the lever is like several other things on the plane there is very little difference in switch position between ON and OFF depending on which angle you're looking at it from.

Really you just have to moleste that plane. You know, feel it up. Otherwise, you'll miss something. Its a life lesson... that you shouldn't apply heavily.

Ok, I get it, but does anyone want to speculate on whether or not Delta would be "interested" in maybe picking up those 717s? They are 100 seaters more or less, could fill in for DC9s leaving, and the price might be right. I thought Delta hired a guy from Airtran to look into a training program before Mexican got their hands on them. I don't know if Airtran will want them, but do we want Airtran to source 25 more 717s to compete against us somewhere else? I know the Saudi MD90s and the 717 mix didn't happen, but what about using those 717s for a 100 seater for the next 5-8 years?

Bill, I bet dollars for doughnuts that DAL is asking the same questions you are.
