Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
FtB:
BDL is not bad. Nice food court near security. Been a few years but I do think they have WiFi to keep up with the APC habit.

This by the way, is a question and not a rant. I don't want to use my allotment of rants on this by any stretch. I was just wondering if there was a reason. Again, not a rant.
Crazy how everything makes the news now. I don't post it because of what it is, a minor mechanical failure that requires a divert, but rather that it made the news in the first place. And that the news barely mentions that hey, the people were only 2.5 hours late.:
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ―
A Delta Airlines flight from Miami to New York was diverted after it failed to reach proper cabin pressure Monday.
The Delta Flight 173 had 142 passengers and five crew members landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 8:15 a.m. after leaving Miami International Airport at 7 a.m. headed for John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. It was expected there at 10 a.m.
The Airline said the emergency landing was a precaution after the MD-88 jet failed to reach adequate cabin pressure after taking off from Miami.
Passengers boarded another plane and were expected in New York by 12:30 p.m.

If you really want to watch the calories and lose weight - I strongly recommend the Karen Carpenter Diet ®. It's a low-fat, low-carb, low-protein diet. You can eat anything you want as long as it does not contain fat, carbs, or protein. How easy is that?
The pounds just melt away ... and away ... and away.

That sucks... the coffee place really sucks. Cant even really figure out what there menu is about. Its some off brand stuff, all the new food options at LGA are pretty bad, in my opinion. I think people want brand name stuff... especially starbucks. That starbucks always did bu-coup business.
I had high hopes for the new food options at LGA but its pretty sad how the did it, they just put different menus up, changed the signs, and presto. At least we get a decent discount.

What's the word on getting any of the Mexicana planes if they do stop flying? I know they have 25 717s with Click that we were looking at when they were at Midwest, and they do have some airbi also. Anyone sniffing anything?

Can the 717 be flown by the same pilots that fly the MD-88/90? Of course it is "technically" a DC-9 but so it the MD-80 and it operated by a separate group of pilots. The flight deck/avionics of the 717 looks vastly different from the DC-9 as well as the MD-80. Just wondering.
I doubt that it would work with the 88/90's we have on property. Now the Saudia MD-90's that is a different animal.
