Until this gets better automated and everyone trained, at both ends, things like this will continue to pop up. Just what you need.......jetlagged and trying to make a connection while standing before a bureaucrat trying to get into the country.

For those of you who care, aren't flying and not hanging out in Godfather's in Saipan, I'll be on Fox & Friends tomorrow morning, Tuesday, at 7:15 AM. I'll be in the LA studios and not NYC which sux because it'll be 4:15 AM my time. I'll try and look chipper. :)

Should we be seeing the MSP M90 flying grow soon? Seems like they had plans for that to be a decent size category, and right now there are only 120ish FO's. Isn't it supposed to get around 180 FO's?

Guess that's what the newhires are for. :p

Is there anyway to get the arbitrairly assigned training changed? It nailed me with my birthday weekend in Oct and I'd like to know if it can get changed and if there is a place to bid it or put preferences in before it shows up on the schedule.

You can try to get someone to swap with you. I have seen guys do it on the DALPA forum.
You can also call your training planner.

All of that info is on the DAL net under you fleet page.

So i've been told by two senior check airmen lately... CVG M90 is still flying some of the MSP turns, but the main problem i see is that, number of reserve is still out of proportion comparing with other bases.

You can call training planning but don't hold your breath......

I don't know if anyone has answered this yet but the only way to block 5 days in a month where you might have recurrent training is to go to the VTS menu and put in up to a block of 5 days during the month/months you have recurrent. This needs to be put in prior to the beginning of the month in which you could have recurrent. It's listed under something like "Display/Update recurrent training golden days." With a three month window you can put 5 consecutive days in for each possible recurrent month. I know it doesn't help now but for future reference.
