NERD,
I'm surprised you are not working. Check your PM's, bro. :) |
S1a
Kuddos to the CPSC:
I had the unfortunate opportunity to fly home on S1A a couple weeks back. I was a little worried as I've been on MLOA for almost two years. When I called the CPSC, it took all of 30" for them to authorize my entire family with no questions asked. Made it really easy for us to travel the same day as the bad news. Another feather in the cap for this company... |

For all my fellow 73N brothers and sisters out there. I checked out the 33 knot crosswind limit yesterday in Detroit. It works. ;)
Speaking of limits, I got to try MLW landing on runway 1 at DCA the other night at the 10 kt tailwind limit with the ILS out. We were one of the last to land before they swapped the runway. The brakes work just fine but I got a little impatient waiting for the dadgum autobrakes to click on! |
FtB;
Tomorrow? I thought it was the 7th for FnF? :eek: |
I am the village idiot.
Forgot tomorrow was a holiday. I should wear a watch. |

Yeah came home (DV8ed) through LAX on Thursday the 2nd. I called scheduling AFTER we did everything in ICrew and selected seats on Delta.com. Scheduling said they sent the TTY and everything went smooth............
At least till we hit immigration in LAX. First they wanted the blue vs crew customs form, no big deal. Then they were upset about all the "write-ins" (there were 6 of us). The Purser also commutes to PHX and we chatted at the commute gate. Maybe doing the DV8 in Icrew sends the message too? I'm thinking that we won't have to call the scheduler at all soon as the note on my pairing said it was a notification from Icrew about the DV8. Don't know, it went real smooth on the 2nd. Ferd |

Almost forgot to post this info.
iCrew on Android Tested with Droid2, Android 2.2 Froyo Stock Android Browser, Deltanet - yes, iCrew - NO Dolphin browser, Deltanet - yes, iCrew - NO Steel browser - ugh xScope Browser, Delta- yes, iCrew - NO SkyFire browser, not attempted and finally Fennec a.k.a. Firefox Mobile, Deltanet - yes, iCrew - YES!!! Fennec's latest alpha version (25Aug10) is bloated and slow but you can get iCrew to work including viewing your schedule. It's not easy and will require some extra effort to get the scrolling to work so you can see some of the buttons and the little airplane symbols don't always appear correctly for rotation info, but I got it to work. Just remember its an alpha version so there will be much more work done before its called a final product. You won't find it in the Android Market. You will have to google it and download it from the website. You will also have to Settings > Applications Settings and enable Unknown Sources. Just remember to disable Unknown Sources after the Fennec installation is done. Good luck ranger |

What exactly is your "extra effort" with regards to scrolling. I can get iCrew on screen but can't get to any of the buttons.

Just watched the WDR......A couple thoughts!!
1. After swing gear on the 88 for the past 1.5 years, I do miss how easy that 75/6 after start procedure was!!! 2. Im always an optimist, but this new procedure is doomed!! Never work in ATL. Ramp will always want us to get movin and input numbers off their ramp. Ground is gonna get ****ed at us when each wave of Delta planes come out of the ramp and then request to stop. I understand the beacon is on and we are getting paid, but as highly educated pilots, we cant stand stupidity!!! |
