So the wifey is planning a trip to Disney in September. Anyone got any info on the discounts we get? I heard 40-50% off the hotels.
I don't mean to drift this thread, cause it does that all on its own. So..PM me if you want. Thx

Say we do get $4500 in Profit sharing, does it go into the 401k or is it cash money yo?:D Too lazy to look it up!!

Beer;

Generally they give you an option.

As for the discounts. Look at sparkfly. There are some program rates on the Rat World tickets as well.

Profit sharing

So on the profit sharing of $4500..whats it work out to in hourly wages, ie 20 hours for a 77 capt...so an extra 1+ hours per month over a year?

Read the PWA. It is all spelled out in there.

Also profit sharing is based on operational profit, not bottom line.

I bought one from Premier Hat Co. in Jacksonville, AR. Reasonable price and I'm happy with it. Google their website or PM me.

Well I left my hat in the car and Florida sun shrank the leather liner now it sits on top my head what to do??? Might have been that my head swelled up from flying the super premium wide body!!!

The whole situation is a real shame since those guys could be providing valuable input if they could just get over their "kiss my ring" complex.

Ahh the coveted 744 capt ring!!!! Hey Carl can I have yours when you retire???:D

Exactly. Now I'm all for getting whatever we can get... profit sharing, whatever. But I've seen DALPA officials talk as if profit sharing is somehow going to make us whole for a lot of the cuts we have taken. As you can see, it's not even a drop in the proverbial bucket!

I've got a quick reserve question. I was assigned a trip on short call with an 0615 report. I was supposed to fly two legs and deadhead back to base. I signed in and the crew and I waited until 0700 for the plane to show. The plane arrived and the agent damaged the aircraft with the jetway. Our flight was canceled. Scheduling took the whole trip off my schedule and I went back to my crashpad. Shouldn't I be pay protected for that trip since I signed in for it? At the minimum I should at least get "suit up pay" for it, right? It's not that big of a deal for me since I'm not going to break guarantee this month, but I want to make sure scheduling is following the contract. Thanks!
