I know you are kidding, but I hope everyone knows this is just a GUESS. I did back engineer a guess at this quarter based on the public disclosure. The third quarter number is just a guess based on equaling the current quarter. Delta has given no guidance on whether the 3Q will be the same as the 2Q or better or worse. The fourth quarter I just guessed based on the fact that we lost in the 1Q and the 4Q is usually marginally better than the 1Q.

There are arguments going back and forth here that somehow are taking this number as a gospel and whether or not it was enough or too much or restoration or any of the other arguments. The first step is to realize that this is just a GUESS made mostly for fun and to try to quit talking about 747 line check airmen and computer programs. I was hoping for other guys to make guesses and we could see who wins a high/low.

Please, the profit this year could be 0, it could be $10 billion, it could be any number different from my guess and it will be different from my guess. Back to underboob and cheerleaders.

Veryyyyyyyyy good grasshopper:D

I think I'm going to take it to NRT next time over and have a party. I'm shocked by the number of "airline professionals" who have never seen it. I'll cut them some slack if they've seen Airplane, but not having seen either one and I kick them outta the cockpit. Gets lonely up there sometimes without a Capt:D

I've got the DVD. Woulnt you love to have a cockpit that big? Looks like a C-5!

It sure does, and I think I remember from somewhere (one of the bonus disks?) that is a real DC-4 cockpit being used. Watching the bonus disks are almost as good as the movie itself.

I remember seeing it the first time with my dad and a couple of his friends (on TV) when I was in elementary school.........may be the "original bug bite"

PS.......Islands in the Sky should be shown at Delta Indoc, need the young'ens to see why there is so much red in the tail:D

Ya... I wonder if that's new procedure! :) Actually, I never have had any problems getting in contact with the reps and they've always been really good about responding, especially with scheduling questions.

Thanks.

The correct command is to use the "followed by" statement.

Eg.

If you want trip's 4001 and 4002 you would put:

"Award Trip 4001 followed by 4002". If you can't get both then you won't get either.

The PBS bid assist line does a great job with these kinds of questions.

Quick question... If I work 15 duty periods on reserve, do I get 78:45 min?

satchip 06-28-2010 04:56 PM

Not if you work 15 2 or 3 hour duty periods.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 12:38 PM.
