Hard to say as I haven't played reserve under the new rules, but I imagine their concept is the long call guy will fly first and likely accumulate more hours. I got called out SC once on the A320 in a year, long call, 18+ hours was the norm. Again, I have no idea how this has all changed but imagine I will know soon enough.

My guess is that you can find them on the DALPA website under the Scheduling/PBS committee page/s or on the Crew Resources page on Deltanet.

What is the DAL policy with regards to people who've interviewed and not been hired? eligible for re-apply? or no? I made it thru the eval, but not the 3 on 1 interview process..

Hi ACL,
I've got a buddy that was invited to interview, but a few days before he was supposed to go, all interviewing/hiring was canceled. He says he got an email saying that the group would be first to be considered again when hiring resumed. That was in 2008 (I think) though, and the email's tone was pretty much "don't call us, we'll call you". Any ideas on how these guys might be handled? |
Just like you state. Past practice was to send another letter out.Wait and see. Get your suf in order, and be ready. Some were given a few weeks.

That may well be where it has to go:( DOT and LaHood are so swept up in their own maniacal power grab, only a separate branch of the Gov't could provide a check against them. I don't think DAL wanted this battle, and we certainly tried to be reasonable with our proposals, but at this point we have little choice but to fight for the right to run a business without the iron hand of an out of control bureaucracy dictating winners and losers in the realm of private business.
I hope somebody at the Washington Post is keeping a close eye on LaHood and his cronies. I'll bet there is more than meets the eye. Quick fact: In 2008, Ray LaHood secured $60 Million in earmarks for his district, and of that $60 Million, $9 Million went directly to his campaign donors. Not saying there is a connection, but it does seem strange that only SWA makes the grade for a slot divestiture:rolleyes: |
DAL4, my guess is he has the backing he needs at 1600 Pen.

Hey ATL C44 guys. LEC meeting tomorrow in the usual place. Do not know where that is, look on the LEC 44 page.

It'd be nice if it was held here...
