I think you're right.
This one is going to be bloodier than expected.

Are the previous bids on record somewhere or do I have to put in a whole new bid? I really wasn't planning to do much more than sit tight on this one anyway, so I guess I'll just put in what I'm doing now with a couple of backup MDs. But, is the last bid on file somewhere and I'm just not seeing it?

Ferd, mine are still there. But all I have in are displacement preferences. I'm not volunteering or asking for anything.

Buzz, for those of us building seniority, can I please have a surf report.

3 to 5 foot swells today. Zuma appears to be the place to go this morning. A little overcast with the Marine layer which is forecast to burn off around noon. High of 82.

The Titanic was rased a little bit more today with the announcement of hardcards returning to the A330.

Question:
I was awarded the SLC320B on the May AE(go to training in NOV). If I get displaced off of that in this AE, will I go to where I can hold on my displacement bid and be seat lock free?

Yes. Once you are displaced, you're freeze is over. You could even reinstate to slc320b on the next ae without a freeze. This exact scenario happened to about 20 dtw320b's about a year ago. They are now all unfrozen. Just ask johnso29 :-)

Even though I never got trained in the AC?

Also, I was thinking about setting up my displacement so I stay in my current base. If I get reinstatement on the next AE, is it a paid move, because i was displaced, even though I never was trained or moved?

Seems like June Gloom has lasted all summer!!!!

Watched you on FOX while I was sending the munchkin off to school. Sure was dark on the left coast!!! I can't even imagine how early you had to get up for that interview...yuck! Time to order your book. Btw, anyone read Term Limits by Vince Flynn? Picked it up in the Atl crew lounge the other day. Good book. I could almost see the storyline happening one day. Not by me of course, I'd send Carl to beat them with his cane!!!! lol

That's close to what I said. I'm thinking about 20 captains and 20 or so FO's that are there now won't hold it so were only about 9 off on our guess. Hopefully the increase in the 320 category will stem some of the cascading displacements as guys MD to the 800 then 800 guys MD to the 320. These last few bids have not been good to us SLC folks.
