Does anyone know what is up with the MSP 88 B staffing? The latest 22.D.3 calls for 156 captains and 180 FOs. Why the big split - are we adding relief pilots to MSP 88 trips?! Looks like the percentage cut off for reserves will continue to be rather high in that category. Probably something to keep in mind for people looking to bid into MSP 88B - if you want a line, 80% probably won't cut it for a while (even 70% may not be safe).
Dash,
Probably less flying that they initially planned on. IE not enough jets.

With 35 new captain positions on the 744 and lots of openings all over, what is the logic that SLC will be a slaughter? Not being confrontational, actually curious. It seems like everyone will be moving up not down.
I don't see how it will be a blood bath but am adjusting my MD on it because of what y'all are saying.

What Check Essential said. I think the ONLY categories you will see displacements in will be in SLC. The displacements will trickle down through the 800 and 320 because of the locals who will fly anything to not commute. Most of the guys that will get booted out of base will go to MSP since SEA and LAX are also getting more senior. The 320 category in MSP has enough room to soak up the displacements that will come in, so I think everyone else will see upward movement. It's good overall, just stinks to have almost your entire base open to bid by everyone within a year. Kinda feels like a bump and flush if you know what I mean.
The 7er in SEA went very jr. I would not be surprised to see some SLC 767 guys head to SEA if they can't stay in SLC.

I wouldn't be surprized to see that either but the commute is going to get tougher. You are going to have guys commuting to work both ways who can reserve the jumpseat a day earlier than guys going home............Could be kinda tough to get home to either SLC or SEA.

Drive time is 12:52 and 850.5 miles ouch! Just a little to far to drive and make 12 hr long call.

So we get Gogo inflight free connection to Delnet, but not allowed to use anything in the cockpit to use Gogo, I got that right?
