....and while were noticing things embedded in logos, let's not forget the old "devil" in the Delta Wavy Gravy tail, not that there's anything wrong with a little Satanic worship between friends.:

...and totally ruined by the corporate ID guy that made the last NW logo, deconstructed the parts and made the compass point any which way...

It sounds like you've got it.....the Blue eye right in the middle of the Vert stab with the mouth and nose right along the lower leading edge. There's a big blue pointy ear along the trailing edge and just as you get into the red part, there's a pointy horn atop the head.

....of course it helps if you look up there during the walkaround after you've breathed in some good hydraulic fumes from the wheel wells followed by a healthy lung full of "Eau de Jet A". Then you can see all sorts of things.

Wow, now I see the partial up arrow in the bottom of the "X" meaning, "going up ward and onward to great things" I would guess.
