To back up what Carl had to say, my w2's have declined to the lowest pay I have made since some time in 1992.....the work rules under the Delta PWA were a very surprising disappointment. Any way I vote with Carl.

What exactly in the workrules do you attribute this to?

You have NO idea what you're talking about.

Carl

You debating his numbers, or just calling him an idiot? Got better numbers? Put them up, so the rest of us can see who'se right. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, the profit-sharing amount is a percentage of our pretax income. So the amount they've set aside is immaterial with regards to what we'll get. Am I wrong?

I don't think that's right. They distribute whatever qualifies, in proportion to your W2. IOW, the W2 is used to differentiate between employees, to determine what proportion of the pot everyone gets. But the size of the pot is a variable, and your part of the loot changes accordingly.

I'm sorry... I ask questions, and now I'm thinking I'm not going to wait around for the answers. This is a discussion that will surely be ongoing in a little while, and will only get more... mature over time. It's like a good wine bottle, and I don't want to sip from it too early, or I won't get the full enjoyment.

I'm going to see if the wife and kids are still around.

Have a nice week-end, everyone.

We wouldn't if you and your ilk would stop taking us down this road.

Like Carl, overall I'm happy with the way things are turning out. Lets keep our eyes on 2012.
