I hate to hijack the thread, but, Does anyone have an android phone? I am trying to view I-Crew on my phone and I get a simple accelerator ..... msg when trying to view my sched. PM if you know how to get this to work. Thanks and sorry.
Go to the Market on your android phone and download "Fennec" This will lead you to a site to get the actual download...."get mozilla firefox feccec" Right now it is just a BETA test product. It works OK but is not perfect yet. I usually manually download an update every week. When I want to see my schedule I use the regular browser to access dlnet and use fennec when i click on i-crew. ***I just went to look at my schedule and Fennec provided an automatic update....cool |

I've never flown an Airbus, but I've heard there are some phases of flight where you can't disconnect the computer and fly manually. I don't think I would like that. |

Yep, there is different software laws for given events. It is fly by wire so truly it is always a computer flying, same as a 787 and 777.

Hmmm, my airplane is fly-by-wires and has lots of computer software, just none of them talk to each other. Maybe thats the problem, too much communication. Just like with a marriage or CRM the more you talk the more people don't like you and then someone gets a little "pitch sensitive."
Well, think about it. Here is the article and blackbox video to a 777 ap mechanical bull incident: ASN Aircraft accident Boeing 777-2H6ER 9M-MRG Perth, WA YouTube - REAL Pitch Up Boeing 777 Incident |
You know what would be nice in ATL? If during all of this twy M construction is if they had paved over all the grass between taxiways like DFW and even the south ramp side taxiways in EWR. Just a thought that I wish all busy hub airports would do for maximum flexibility.
