I am a lurker. Would it be unfair to assume that the guys less senior to #11533 are DC9 drivers, or would they be on the 32S too?

I truly believe full restoration will never happen. I will be happy if we become the highest paid pilots in the U.S. Our narrow-body pilots should make more than Southwest pilots. The bigger aircraft should be adjusted accordingly.

I believe that full pay restoration would only be possible with support from both customers paying higher fares and/or shareholders willing to accept lower returns on their investment in DAL. In the near future I don't believe that consumer would support any significant fare hikes above 2008 levels nor would shareholders want accept below average rates of return. As time progresses pilots need shareholder support to make further capital investment with new aircraft to replace DAL's aging DC9s, MD88s, early build 752s, no-ER 763, and early build 320s which will need replacement before 2020 if pilots want to have job security and prevent the fleet from shrinking further like AA did this past decade and will likely do in the next decade. You pilots don't want to end up in a situation where DAL would be worth more liquidated that continuing to operate.

Now a crotchety old fart that happens to fly for DAL and really get's annoyed at having to scroll back and forth to read a stinkin' BB on the interweb because some idiots keep posting huge pics on the site for giggles. Granted...its funny once or even twice, but it stopped being funny a long time ago. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of Navy guys (as well as pure civvie, army, CG, fNWA, fDAL, SWA, regional pilot and any other pigeon hole you prefer) that are just as annoyed. I like pics just as much as the next guy, but if you aren't tech-savvy enough to post a reasonably sized pic, post a link or skip the pic.

Just wait until one of our female bretheren decide they want to see pics of dudes in thongs and FTB obliges. :)

Yes, it would be. :)

We just had an award post, & newhires as in just started class in August/Sept were awarded Detroit 757/767, NYC 737, & A320 is going to newhires. We also have 07/08 hires on the 757/767 in NYC & MSP. AlwYd bid what you want. :)

Speaking of newhires. Does Delta have captains fill out those probationary pilot evaluation forms for the newhires they fly with?

This is a testament to how bad our reserve system is. Pilots would rather be lineholders on DC-9's and MD-88's than reserve on a 757/767. International is where the line is drawn. The 767-400/A330 and bigger are nowhere near new hires.
