Perhaps it's to promote an even newer book, "Movement Not Happening."

Maybe?

Its frikkin tough out here with the media. FU Lindsay! In fact tonight, I'm going to get really toasted, fall to the floor and try and chow down on a Carl's Jr mega-cheeseburger while I mumble "FTB," "80 Knots Clamp," while my wife films me and releases it to TMZ tomorrow. You gotta do what you gotta do ya know. It's tough out here.

And, btw, quit bidding on the 73N beeyatches! Your making my life miserable!

Projected Category List/Seniority Question

All,

Haven't been able to discover the answer to this one that makes sense. Maybe someone can help.

After the last bid (May 2010) it looked like I was going to be pushed back another 6 spots. As of today (including the posted projected conversions for October) I still haven't moved back, I have stayed the same. Does that mean all those guys are converting in November?

I'm not complaining (in fact I'll take every tiny bit of seniority I can get), just wondering when when those guys are going to show up.

OR, could something have happened to all the guys senior to me that I'm actually not going to lose as much as I thought?

Thanks for any help!:)

That's all right, the 2010 hires will be exemplary Type As . But not until after New gets done with them where he is going to empower them to live in a constant state of fear by creating an environment of irrational random terror.

Hey DAL73N, I think it just speaks to the movement going on around the system right now. For example, I compared the AE results today with Crew Planning's projections based on the last AE. Since LA is so small, I can literally look at each name and you are right. A lot of guys who were projected to be in LA are not, and some guys who were not, are. I think the Crew Resources guys do the best they can but its always a shot in the dark.

Put the link so you can verify the source

2004: 2.68
2005: 3.39
2006: 3.24
2007: 2.85
2008: 3.85
2009: -0.34

For a grand total of 15.67% total inflation since the start of 2004.

Not to be a contrarian but to actually add to your point, real inflation is much higher than those artificially and politicaly low numbers. Any amount they admit to they have to add in to government worker pay and retirements and our government is absolutely massive. That is why, since the money changers make the rules, they can politely remove food, fuel, energy and many other massive and essential cost creeps directly related to the monetary policies they are responsibile for.

Heck food, fuel and energy are arguably THE biggest COLA concerns for workers and especially retirees, yet our glorious rulers simply line item that out of the equation. Real inflation is ALWAYS higher than the government admits because the government has a vested interest in "publishing" as low a number as possible.
