DTW DC9B (for now... ATL M88B soon... sorry...), but no, no kit, and the Standards guys I was chatting with at the Dobbins airshow this past weekend mentioned that the kits were a Captain thing.
Again, it's not that big a deal to me, given that I have to hide in the cockpit after most of my landings anyway, but I would like to at least have a pair of wings to give to the occasional kid I didn't just scare the poo out of...
Maybe it's just a DTW thing? Maybe it's an oversight? Maybe the powers that be are trying to tell me, "Please, whatever you do, don't talk to the passengers".....
I dunno...
(btw... how are you running out of wings? I thought M88B guys on reserve lived the high life sipping beers and watching football.... Does this mean I'll occasionally have to work????)

If you are soon to be "...on your way to ATL..." maybe they f'd up and sent it to ATL? What month do you convert to ATL? My F/O got one a few days ago, but that was in ATL.
OR...maybe the DTW CPO is selling them on Ebay.

Still just 16 duty days since Aug 1!!! We've been watching so much football, and now hockey, that we've been banned from the neighbors basement bar. My buddies wife has closed OUR man cave for a week. She said all the guys in the neighborhood are on time-out. Phooey!!!

As I understand it, we can take a loan out on our 401K from Fidelity. Does anyone know what the restrictions are? IOW, does it have to be for first time home buyers, etc. Or can I take the loan to buy an investment property?

It's extremely easy. You can take multiple loans out, too. It's all done online and the money is transferred directly into the bank account you choose. Interest rate right now is 4.25%. You can take out a loan for principal home purchase (max 10 years) or general purpose (max 4 years). So in your case, you could only take a general purpose loan out to pay for an investment property.
