These numbers are the best info available to someone (coming off of furlough bypass) I know that did in fact get up and walk out at ATL.
Haven't heard & have no idea.

If you're asking about Flexible Spending accounts(FSA), then yes, they can coordinate benefits. If you're asking about Health Savings accounts (HSA), then no, they can't coordinate. To use an HSA your only coverage can be a high deductible plan, and TriCare isn't one of those. Call ALPA R&I to get the real info.

When you say the Captain "allegedly" made an error, what exactly do you mean?

The Captain crashed the plane, independently of the fact the F/O was also trying to help him crash the plane. Look at the speed tape (which reflects stall speed for existing flap settings, not the settings he wished for), look at the power levers, and look at the elevator and aileron inputs throughout this sad evolution.

IOW, he F/O was trying very hard for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in this horror movie, but he was notnethelss the lead actor, and the director. Considering his actions in the years prior, and his (alleged) falsifications of records, I'd say he wrote the script too.

I stand by my assertion: this accident had little to do with fatigue. You're mistakenly assuming that even if she had rolled out of bed all nice and fresh, she would have the skills and experience to overcome his desperate attempts to crash the thing. Looking at her act of retracting the flaps, even once the adrenalin flowed... I just don't see it. In other words, her being tired was not the accident link that needed to be broken, her presence and was the accident link.
I agree, even in my most fatigued state I would not raise flaps in an aggravated stall.

FWIW, I think I got more rest when I commuted half way across the country. You cannot stop home life when at home, but commuting forces you to leave and focus on you.

Very good point ACL Of course a commuter can have a horrific commute making for a long day. It's the responsibilty of the individual to be properly rested. Commuter or not is irrelevant. What the FAA/NTSB don't want to address is that the FO & CA did NOT sleep in a hotel or crashpad because they couldn't afford it. How about mandating a livable wage?

Hey C44 guys. The meeting is next Thursday and there is going to be an open mic for the guys running for the Master Chair position. Make it if you can.

Default MLOA & Jumpseat Question

I am currently on MLOA through tomorrow. However, today and tomorrow were previous scheduled * days. So when looking at my schedule I see a * followed by MLOA. Originally it was a * day which I PCS to a MLOA day.

The question I have is, is it a no-no for me to jumpseat for personal reasons tomorrow?

Any quick responses would be great. Thank you

I made a phone call to one of my reps, this is the first he had heard about it. So, no info, maybe check on the DALPA site.
