Here's a new rumor, well new to me, and maybe someone has intel on it. With the configuration changes in the Mad Dog fleet there is talk about a raise for MD guys. Have fun and discuss

I've not heard of a raise for the MD fleet, but it would be nice to have that fleet brought up to at least one rate equal to the 320/319 rate before 2012. Then in 2012 we can get all the narrowbody fleet up to SWA +?% that much easier. I doubt they will up those rates outside of section 6, but they might.

There was a resolution brought forth in C44 to have the MEC Council direct the MEC to do just this.

In the last 15 years the trend has been to take seats out. Only in the last few years have seats been added back into the aircraft. I don't want my pay changing every time they change the number of seats. In a down economy the company would be much quicker to pull seats if it means a pay cut for the pilots. If you want a raise when they add seats written into the contract it stands to reason you would take a cut when they pull seats.

Nope there was one presented, passed unanimously on Thursday(10.28.10). It was sent out in the C 44 Hotline and should be posted on the C44 website.

The argument is a little different now since all M88 pilots will be trained as M90 pilots. Just like the 737-700/800 319/320 and 757/757-300/767-300/767-300ER pilots.
