Any way to research why you were not given a swap with pot. Put in to drop on the 9th and pick up on the 18th to increase sch for 3 hours. Both trips were denied. Called the CPSC and they said that there was adequte reserve coverage when I did not get the swap on the first try and said to try again. Seems like something is not quite right here. Also one of the trips went away before a sch run. How does that happen??:confused:

After reading again what he said, I agree. :D

That's what you would expect them to say. It's always a "mine is bigger than yours" type of thing to fire up the new guys and reinforce upon them that they made the right decision, especially when the competition is hiring.

I think SWA is expecting us to roll over like UAL did in their home hub of DEN (I know they are ORD based). We compete well against SWA and our fares are very competitive. They have a great ad program and more than a few friends in the government to make their life easier. We will be wary but don't expect us to be frightened.

Nope, I moved to within 60 miles of the brewery in Wisconsin. Have yet to visit it, though.

I just hope that they don't shrink Mecca north too much. My family and I love it. It puts Atlanta to shame (lived in Atlanta for 20 years) in every category.

Anyone,

Why when I log into icrew sometimes the pop up screen says logging out? Can get into the flight ops page with no problem. It is hit or miss. Sometimes it allows me to log right in to icrew and other times not.

If I were SWA I'd be scared. They will LOSE passengers in ATL because they will discontinue AirTrans 1st class service, as well as the free satellite radio.

As Reroute has pointed out they have about 23 more 70 seat jets they can take delivery of to hit the 255. They are capped at 153 76 seat jest until the mainline fleet count goes over 767. We are over 20 shy of that number right now.

What them buying 70 seat jets means is that either 1) our mainline fleet count will not go above that number for the foreseeable future, or 2) they wanted jets now and our 76 hull limit passed a stress test and they bought what they were allowed to buy.

Yes, we need to make scope a top priority, not just for 2012, but for each and every day we are engaged in talks with our company, IFALPA, and the Skyteam airlines, or anywhere else, Delta Pilot jobs may be at risk, but to date the company is in full compliance with the limitations of section one.

ACL;

It was pretty hard to get DALPA to believe, investigate, and agree that one of our regional DCIs had increased the max gross weight of some jets (in violation of our contract).

In regard to this topic and others (they are a holding company not a certificated airline) that I approach the issue of "contract violations". Does DALPA or ALPA REALLY pay attention? Do they REALLY?
