I would bet they are spending massive amounts on lobbying efforts in an effort to focus on the growing part. Talk about a camels nose under the tent.

Be sure to tip your waitress! :D

I need some help on moving reserve days. I know the coverage has to be above the required. I just do not know where to go into icrew? and put in the request.

Yes it is my first month on reserve.

Actually they still have a few CR7s left, they're trying to get rid of the rest (ASA has picked up several, as have some overseas airlines). A lot of my friends at QX are convinced that this, along with the decision to kill the Horizon brand and make it a mere "Alaska Express" carrier, is a first step to another regional coming in to fly mainline-replacement-sized aircraft for Alaska. If so, you wonder who's really behind it - AAG management alone or Alaska's largest codeshare partner and potential purchaser looking for a way to outsource 86-seat flying (directly or indirectly)?

There are 4 blocks to work with, start with the day(s) off you currently have and then what day(s) off you want. If you're only moving 1 day then it looks like this one below because you write the one date twice and the new date twice, e.g. 07 07 20 20, just like below.

If its 2 days then its 07 08 and 15 16. Then you can do multiple combinations just like bidding depending on how critical this is to you and if you desire it to have it go out on the first PCS run:

This is how they told me to do it and it worked.

I see your point but hopefully the passengers will make enough of a fuss that this goes away. IMHO, we already have given up so many liberties because of terrorists that in some ways they have already won. Freedom is not really free if you give up all your liberties in the process.

No soap box, just my humble O.

Don't agree with you very much Capn, but on this we are in lock step. Had this argument with my wife this morning. She still trust the government and the TSA and is willing to go through the scanner things to keep the bad guys from getting through.

If they are worried about concealed explosives, why don't we have dogs at the airports?

Flamer 11-15-2010 11:50 AM

Won't it cost DAL revenue if less people fly because they don't want to go through these things? Not sure how many people would decide not to fly because of them .....

Because all the good dogs are being sent to Afghanistan.

I agree, dogs do a way better job in a practical setting than ANY machine in existence.
