It doesn't change Molon Labe's point about all the former NWA guys being ousted from their positions...with only 2 left to go.

Even if you don't care who is in these management positions, if the roles were reversed, you would notice. The fact that all of these guys were just really first class dudes makes it really sad.

The Delta way is to now have one guy in charge of the 744, 777 and A330. This same guy has never flown the 744 or the A330. This part of being at Delta is quite distasteful to me.

You are correct. We're facing this problem now on my fleet. You try to suggest positive changes to someone who doesn't know the airplane or the theatre in which we operate. Frustrating.

The fleet captain of the 757/767 fleet is a fNWA guy. Theat fleet would be the 7th largest airline in the world if separated out. If memory serves me correctly, NWA did not have any 767s. This is a stupid thing to be getting wrapped around the axle about.

I hope you're right.

You cannot imagine the frustration of trying to do things the Delta way, even though you can see what a failure the latest procedures are. This is evidenced by the constant changes to procedures that just the other day, were touted as "the way we want things done."...only to see it changed to something even more incomprehensible.

I take heart though, because I hear some fDAL guys stating the same thing.
