Johnso, I'm not talking onesies and twosies. Did the company push it? Were you taught to do it during training? I agree not everyone from the South did it/does it. And there are times when you have to get to your next flight because of running late or a tight connection time built on the rotation itself.

Just Curious. Why do you Ask?

Did the pilots from the north say goodbye to the passengers as they deplaned?

I havent noticed any difference between north and south.... seems like most do it regardless.

newK gets thanked by passengers for flights he wasn't even on.

Is North American covering Spirit Airlines flying? Saw a NA B757 departing LGA this morning using a Spirit callsign.

We were encouraged to do it, duties permitting.

Fatty,

I still have the fear of bb in me. I think he's still watching me and from what i'm told he has his eye on one guy in every class to make an example of..so for me...I put on my delta smile and say thanks. When you leaving my category and base so I can move up one already,

2 south...asap

YES WE DID/DO!

And, I really had it out with an ATL FA who THOUGHT she was complementing me by saying I was the first pNWA pilot she saw say goodbye. She started to argue with me, till she saw the vain in my neck.

For the life of me..........where do we get this "stuff"?

Ok, I did dash off to catch a tight connection for my commute home. But that was one leg out of 8.

I'm really getting tired of the "aren't you so glad your Delta now?" I am, but I'm also proud of the folks I worked with "up north". We (flight ops) ran a great airline.........ya'all weren't different/better than we were.

It was encouraged by my LCA. I have always enjoyed doing it. During tight connections built into the rotation I usually see the CA head to the next gate while I say thanks to departing pax.

Did somebody give you a hard time Fatty?

I saw on the Spirit thread that a Spirit A321 is out of service due to ground damage. NA was contracted to cover the flying for that A321.
