Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
So, I was just watchhing "60 minutes ",concerning a whistleblower on mega-phamaceutical company " Glaxo". Many people were made seriously ill by tainted drugs manufactured at one of Glaxo's plants.
The Gov't sued and won $750 million for fraud , among other charges. The whistleblower received $93 million of the settlement.
The network was interviewing a Harvard MD who is acknowledged to be the leading pharmaceutical expert in the U.S. The interviewer commented to the MD, that making drugs was a very difficult process, and the MD responded that Brain Surgeons and Airline Pilots also had very difficult jobs, and we didn't accept poor performance from them.
Ok, so I checked and the average Brain Surgeon makes $297-584k/year.
I want my raise now, how about you ?
Rant over.....

But I get what you're saying.
The difference really between us and them is we're not likely to get ourselves killed in this thing...
But we're also less likely to have a trophy wife... I'll spare the picture. Who wants to see a trophy wife anyways, especially on this forum...
And I'll go ahead and deduct 10 points from myself for this post.
Carl, if you're going from ATL-PHX tomorrow in that shiny machine of yours then stick a War Cam Eagle.
3 points to each player you say it to, 10 points if you say it to a player who won the Heisman and 30 points to each one of these you say it too...

Sorry, I should've shown this one...
FTB, 10 points back.

I wouldn't say anything to Cam. You might end up having to pay him for the privileged of flying him to PHX!
The 2/15 check will be the first mid-month check to see the decrease.
Life lessons with FTB:
Iphone Alarm Glitch Greets New Year with Silence
yeah, boy am I glad I didn't have an early show today otherwise I'd blown it. We've gotten used to having two iphones set for an alarm that we've been lazy about setting the clock radio.
My favorite life lessons are those learned without getting burned.

Auburn University, the second largest college in the State of Alabama, announced that next years tuition would go down for the first time in decades. University spokesman, Bo Jackson, said the decrease can be attributed to a reduction in costs for the Athletic Dept. He further stated that the departure of Cam had absolutely nothing to do with it.
In related news, construction began on Castle Newton, the largest mansion ever built in College Park, GA.

ACL,
We will see. I will put it to you this way, I am senior to all the 07/08 DAL new hires and I am "stashing cash" like you can't believe. Just because you and I would vote "No" doesn't mean that 51% won't vote "Yes" behind the closed doors of their
. Both companies (NWA and DAL) have "studied" the 100 seat replacement since I was a new hire and well, you do the math as they don't want to add debt to the balance sheet with a new aircraft order.
It would be a lot cheaper to just bribe the pilot group for a deal instead.

To Carl, rather than demand the Reps force O'Malley to include statements of Scope lines in the sand why not write him yourself, or through your Reps and let us know what he says. He says he's listening and wants feedback - give it to him and give him a chance to respond. Maybe do the same for Moak and the apparent industry optimism that he'll be the agent for loosening Scope.
