The what questions now, what replaces the 9 in MEM and MSP and please tell me these are "growth mainline" aircraft in ATL. As in 50 seaters get flushed, 70 seaters become 50, 76 become 70 and 9's replace RJs. Please please please.

BTW, I saw NWA colors 9s in DTW on the odd A-side this morning, were those the 40s on their way out? Sad. Now we have a fleet of 34 -50's.

Thanks for the info. Word I got today from my "very reliable source" is that it's on SD's desk for approval for this AE. I hope you're right, though. A 2 hour drive to work is a heck of a lot better than a mostly RJ commute... and I'll take it as long as I can keep it!

Trip parking sounds like a way to get around the max p/u. That impacts junior people by alleviating the need to hire more pilots to fill schedule. It takes trips out of the pot that a junior person could have picked up to help him make a little more while staying in the parameters. Sounds like plain greed to me.

Europe starts confiscating private pension funds | Washington Examiner

Time to stop funding the 401k and start funding the mattress!

That would be pretty dumb, IMO. This country is not Europe. I realize we have some politicians that want to turn us into that, but I don't think it will ever truly come to fruition. People in this country will not stand for it... as evidenced by the most recent elections.

To stop funding/growing the 401k and allow inflation to eat away at the principle would be incredibly foolish, IMO. But if you're a "sky is falling" kinda guy, then knock yourself out. Just my opinion, FWIW.

This will be a historic, and sad, flight then...It will be the last NW colors to fly at MSP, ever.

Heck the last ever NW painted plane period, unless more 5500 757's leave Marana for ferry to SAT.

Everything else is painted including all former Airlink planes I'm certain. And the other 5 are in Sanford already.
