I heard a nasty rumor that the MD88/90 mods are on hold. It appears the single galley in front of first class isn't cutting it. I was told too many first class passengers complained about all four FAs going back and forth past them to get to the only galley and trash bins.
Anyone hear the same? |
I agree with you johnso29. It seems too many ideas are being made by the bean counters and not by people who would know what is best.

Heyas Scoop,
Actually, there is, and its probably a 10 minute walk through the Skyway (you don't need to go outside) to find it. I'm trying to remeber the name of the building, but it's the one with Cray Computers located in it. From the hotel, sort of walk around the Skyway counter clockwise, and that's how I bumped into it. Just follow the Skyway from the hotel until you come to that building. The Y is located on the Skyway level, behind the Cray offices. Downtown Minne is probably another 15-20 minutes from the airport, at least, more in traffic. There's not much there that you can't find in STP. Nu |

It's night/day when comparing what Mpls has to offer as opposed to St Paul. I'll take the downtown Mpls layover in a heartbeat as opposed to staying in St Paul.
BTW, I just did a Google search to find the name of the health club in downtown St. Paul. Looks like it has closed. Here's what I found: Life Time Fitness |
They will give you a free pass to lifetime fitness if you are there for training, but not for layovers. Kind of a silly rule if you ask me.
