I need some help. I am trying to win an argument with my sister and need to know the max capacity, and average fuel burn for the 747-400. Also the max number of pax in our current seating configuration.
Thanks As for fuel burn, go look up the engines and multiply by four. Max fuel and weigh configurations for our fleet will be published in the 747-400 Vol 1 on their fleet page. |

I have a quick question. When are you oficially converted to a new airframe? I am moving back to the ER in NY and just happened to scan the SIM schedule and saw a person junior to me on the training schedule and I am not on it yet. I called and was told that I don't need the long course so I won't train till April. My big question is the person junior to me has his/her sim check out at the end of March, and I thought that was the conversion date. If that is the case I have someone junior to me converting before me, same base, same aircraft, is that allowed? Oh and we both got the jet on the same AE and neither of us was an MD or VD, both just straight AE.
If you both convert at the same time, it is of no consequence who starts training first. If they convert before you, then you should get ER pay the same day they do. |

BTW, PilotFrog, congrats (if a little belated) to you on a great Rose Bowl victory. Sure was a fun game to watch.
It was quite the show. I wish I could have gone, but I was on a trip though I got into LA a day later, and there were a TON of red wearing Wisconsins at the layover hotel. |

Max capacity of pax is 403 in our current configuration. Average fuel burn is about 24,000 pounds per hour. I think JAL had some all coach configurations that held over 500.
Carl Thanks Carl, Also, how much fuel can the 747 hold? |

My parents were out there and part of the mix. Lots of red. |

Off topic here, but does anyone know if there are DAL or general airline discounts for lift tickets in Colorado? I'm heading out to Breck for a week next month and need to keep costs under control. PM me if necessary. Thanks!
