Bombardier needs to figure out how to make a CS500. I assume they will with another Major Airline order..... |

Maybe a system where you get PB days if your credit is under 75 and then once you hit 75 hours credit you get 2X pay for a GS without the PB days would work. I understand the issue if you are not getting credit in return for PB days, but when you credit over 75 hours then get 1X pay for a GS it's just working on your day off instead of your regular reserve day for nothing extra.
You start the reserve month with 70 credit hours. So 5 hours of greenslip would terminate the payback day? The benefit of flying on days off on reserve is that you are getting paid in addition to the 70 credit hours. There was a time when you did get 2X pay on reserve and if you flew on you days off, you got them paid back. That was the original rolling thunder. That lasted about 3-4 months. |

The 5 hours of GS is pay only, NO CREDIT. Reserves on "rolling thunder" can make 30-50 hours of pay and earn 100+ hours of pay, but end up having little to no "credit" for the month.
