Yep look for the 787-900 with a few 800 only if we have to. 777-300's and a few others to boot.

I did find something that said, for pay purposes, the first day of your rotation determines what pay scale at which you'll be paid for that rotation.

On your date of hire, except if you are Delta North. We don't get second year pay until about 2 months after our date of hire.

Latest from Delta South Crew Planning, actual planners (not the senior managers who might make forward looking statements). AE in ~ August to staff two 777-200LR's which will be hitting the ramp in 2010. No further displacements currently planned.

Everything depends on the economy. Guessing the economic turnaround is the question. The lead time to staff a turn around is about a year.

My displacement was pushed back a month due to a training backup on the MD88, FWIW.

You called, I guess you are stuck with what you have?

Planned, is the key word. Fact is that planning feels they have displaced enough to staff the 88, and the short fall of flying on the ER. Fact is that, they need to decide if they are going to displace or hire to keep the TALV with in check for the year.
Planning does not want to cut more, but sometimes they are told what they have to do. Lets hope for the best. I was getting me 88 manuals ready. ;)

There was a resolution passed at the last MEM LEC meeting looking into resolving this matter. The small amount of newhires at Delta North are looking for the so called pay parity that we were promised. I was told by someone who was there that they said they were working on it. Whatever that means.

It passed in ANC not MEM. It never got presented at the MEM meeting but it was discussed evidently. We'll see

Speaking of such things, how long does it take to get an update about the receint MEC meeting?

acl65pilot 04-06-2009 12:09 PM

Well someone just read me some of what he had. From the sounds of it they passed a resolution on the CPS issue to do nothing, and by nothing I mean not rerun the numbers for costs of CPS separate v/s at mainline et al.
