66% in category and back on reserve for May - MSP88B rocks.

How can this be? So an airline with half the staff and a little more than half the aircraft can carry more pax domestically than DAL carried in their entire system worldwide? Am I missing something?

Side Question:

The A320 converted to ship flight bags...What are the FOs required to carry now? Have trouble finding this.

Mid-Cycle Revisions and any new bulletins. Flew with them on my last 5-day trip, works great...just keep them in order and don't spill your coffee on them.

The airside kit also has the FOM and Vol I.

No International for starters. If you compare Revenue Passenger Miles or overall Revenue then Delta is #1.

Nope, that is Domestic to Domestic. We have more flights but many are on smaller jets than the 737-700

We are number one in passengers carrier if you include or international. LUV is number one domestically. That is body count not RPM's.

Rhino Driver 04-15-2011 11:19 AM

That makes more sense. The article stated US airlines carried 53.7 million pax domestically and internationally in Jan. I figured our 7.9 million accounted for both.

Don't feel too bad... At least we're not running at close to 45% on reserve, like we were couple months back. MSPM88 has gradually gotten a lot more ATL turns, east coast turns. Many west coast red eyes pairings have also disappeared this year. (Works great if you commute)

Guess where all the west coast layovers goes?

I'm just glad we're not flying NY shuttle stuff, just yet.

acl65pilot 04-15-2011 11:23 AM

Shuttle is basically being flown by the Baby Bus and the 170's.....
